The Redstone Arsenal MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) is second-to-none in bringing quality entertainment to the soldiers of Redstone Arsenal and the folks in Northern Alabama. Each year, as a fund-raiser, about 20 - 30 members of the Redstone Chapter of USAWOA work as drivers, gate control, and security personnel to keep the partiers safe and having a good time. This year will be no exception. We will perform the same functions as previous years. Start time will be split between 0900-1700 and 1700-finish for Production Assistant and Drivers and 1400-1900 and 1700-2200 for Gate(s). We are in needed of volunteers to support this event. We are compensated for this event. This is where we receive the majority of our funding we use to do other great things for our community.
The 2010 concert on Friday, 3 September 20109, featuring Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Colt Ford was a success.
